Our team continues to diligently monitor the weather forecast for the Too Tough to Ride event scheduled for Saturday morning and will maintain oversight throughout the entirety of tomorrow. At present, we are proceeding with the event as planned. Please be advised that the weather forecast predicts a very high probability of rain; consequently, the roads are expected to be wet. Rainfall is anticipated throughout the day. The English Century cyclists have graciously consented to ride the metric route in order to complete their journey as expeditiously as possible. Also, please note that even if the event proceeds as scheduled, it is ultimately your responsibility to decide whether to participate in the ride to ensure your safety. Should you feel any degree of discomfort with riding in less-than-ideal conditions, you are encouraged to refrain from assuming risks that may surpass your skill or comfort threshold.
